Honk!

Honk! an Olivier award winning musical tells the story of Ugly, who looks quite a bit different from his darling duckling brothers and sisters. The other animals on the farm are quick to notice and point this out, despite his mother’s protective flapping. Feeling rather foul about himself, the little fowl finds himself on an adventure of self-discovery, all the while unknowingly outwitting a very hungry Cat. Along the way, Ugly meets a whole flock of unique characters and finds out that being different is not a bad thing to be. Revival will retell this beautiful and moving story with a new reimaged approach to a story we think we know.

Revival Theatre Company was formed in 2014 by co-founders Cameron Sullenberger and Brian Glick. The vision was to form a professional theatre company in Cedar Rapids that was devoted to producing excellence in musical theatre, while creating a passionate and creative environment.

The mission of Revival Theatre Company is to produce quality classical and contemporary musical theatre that is thought provoking, compelling and challenges the artist and audience.
