Kobe Williams and The Fantasy is a rock power trio from Iowa creating original fuzzy, crunchy rock n roll like it’s straight out the 60s and 70s with a spark from the current generation to create our sound of a Modern Age Fantasy.

They craft music with a spark from the flame of the new generation playing a wide array of original music with classic rock, blues rock, funk, psychedelic rock, and alternative rock influences.

Since 2017, the Iowa City-based songwriter Anthony Worden has surveyed the varied terrain of rock n’ roll, drawing upon the genre’s long history to create his signature brand of ever-fluctuating, always-electric music. Drawing on influences “ranging from Beach Boys to Sonic Youth,” his dynamic sound—paired with his collaborative, member-fluid backing band, the Illiterati—has earned praise from the likes of Iowa Public Radio and Little Village Magazine and has shared the stage with the likes of Neil Michael Hagerty, the Lemon Twigs, Hippo Campus, and Jay Som.
