John Chehak is from Cedar Rapids, Iowa and has been painting professionally since 1998 using acrylics on paper and canvas with a brush and palette knife. John went to his first juried art fair in 2010 and since then has taken part in more than 80 regional shows, selling an estimated 600 original paintings.  

Most of his paintings have been created on archival paper, then matted and framed, ready-to-hang. I use a crystal-clear, light-weight acrylic cover to finish what is an eye catching and affordable presentation. John is dedicated to creating new work, scheduling private and public displays or shows, and personal commission work is always welcome.
