Xene Abraham's artistic journey has always been guided by a deep belief in the power of creativity to heal and transform. This exhibition is a twofold expression of that conviction, bringing together a new, collaborative initiative and a more personal reflection on her own creative path.
Second Floor Galleries
Xene is proud to present the inaugural exhibition of Project Create Peace, a global arts-driven movement focused on creating a new symbol for peace. This icon—a combination of elements representing abundance, expansion, and rebirth—is more than just an image; it is an invitation. Artists are encouraged to interpret its elements, contemplating the miracle of life as they work. The act of creating becomes a therapeutic experience, a way to set aside worry and focus on positive outcomes. The resulting art becomes a visual reminder for all of us to redirect our minds toward peaceful solutions. Xene holds the firm belief that consciousness is fundamental to our reality and that we can literally create a new, more just and balanced world with our minds. This new symbol is a visual representation of that paradigm shift.
In the lower gallery, visitors will find a collection of Xene's personal works created since 2020, along with a few older pieces that mark significant moments in her journey. This is a map of her artistic evolution, showcasing her dedication to both her craft and her community. Xene is an inspired creator. She paints, sews, and sculpts, but her most important work is building community. She uses art as a form of therapy, a way to quiet the mind and get into a state of "flow" where the art seems to paint itself. This collection, much like her work with Project Create Peace, is a celebration of the artist within all of us. She hopes it sparks curiosity and encourages everyone to explore the power of creativity to shape a more peaceful future, one painted stroke at a time.
