I have always enjoyed drawing and using other mediums to bring things to life. As early as a 2nd grade Bugs Bunny that was pink with purple bows (Everyone else’s were bugs’). I loved art classes, taking extra classes in photography during high school at West Delaware. In the class yearbook, they voted me, “Most Artistic”, and they weren’t wrong. I’ve participated in “Chalk the Walk” in Mount Vernon, I placed Honorable Mention, People’s Choice, and Artist’s choice. It was something that pushed my body to the limit but the experience of interacting with people was amazing.
Mediums that I have used are graphite, charcoal, colored pencil, oil pastel, soft pastel, and acrylic.
Pieces will consist of graphite, charcoal pieces, pastel pencil, oil pastel, and acrylic. I have always felt the spirit of animals and take great care in bringing life into the pieces. I’ve concentrated on animals from Iowa, which there are so many to choose from but moved to more exotic ones. Hoping people that view these pieces will see the time and care put into each one and appreciate every line, smudge, and brush stroke that went into them.
