CSPS Hall welcomes service animals trained to perform tasks for individuals with disabilities, in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). A service animal is defined as a dog or miniature horse that has been individually trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability. CSPS Hall staff may ask two questions: (1) is the animal a service animal required because of a disability? and (2) what work or task has the animal been trained to perform? For the safety and comfort of all guests, service animals must be leashed, harnessed, or tethered at all times, unless the device interferes with the animal's work, in which case the animal must be otherwise under the handler's control through voice commands, hand signals, or other effective means. The policy excludes emotional support, therapy, comfort, or companion animals, as they are not recognized as service animals under the ADA. Service animals causing a direct threat to the health or safety of others, or those not under the handler’s control, may be asked to be removed from the premises.
*Some exceptions may be made. CSPS reserves the right to ask any patron to remove their animal from the premises if the animal causes the disruption to the event

Audience Configurations
Almost all shows at CSPS Hall are General Admission, first come first serve shows. The overwhelming majority of our shows are seated shows. Occasionally, the artist or the musical stylings call for a different audience configuration. Below are the ways a show would be set-up at CSPS Hall.
Seated shows are general admission with up to 200 chairs. To ensure you get a good seat, or can be seated with a friend, companion, or family member, please arrive early and enjoy a snack or refreshment at Carlo, our bar right outside the Theater. There is no reserved seating.
Standing Room shows are general admission with up to 300 guests featuring 93 chairs on our platform risers and an open floor in front of the stage. CSPS, even during standing shows, is a listening room. Do not have conversations, including whispering, during the concert or event. This will distract performers as well as fellow audience members. If you want to have a conversation with your friends or fellow audience members, please visit our bar, Carlo, Club Room Gallery or Commons Gallery outside of the Theater.
Black Box shows are general admission seated shows with up to 75 chairs in our downstairs, main floor, black box theater. To ensure you get a good seat, or can be seated with a friend, companion, or family member, please arrive early and enjoy a snack or refreshment at Carlo, our bar right outside the Theater. There is no reserved seating.
Audience Guidelines
The following guidelines need to be respected in order for all patrons and artists to have an enjoyable and safe experience. Please be courteous to those around you.
Grounds for removal
Please note, if our staff finds you are not adhering to the above guidelines, we will give one verbal warning requesting you to change your behavior. If you continue to disregard the guidelines, we will request that you leave the premises. Being removed from more than one event will result in your being banned from CSPS presented events for at least one calendar year.

Policy Purpose
Our anti-discrimination policy explains how we prevent discrimination and protect our employees, customers and stakeholders from offensive and harmful behaviors. This policy supports our overall commitment to create a safe and happy workplace for everyone.
Our company seeks to be in compliance with all anti-discrimination laws, including [Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA.)] We explicitly prohibit offensive behavior (e.g. derogatory comments towards colleagues of a specific gender or ethnicity.)
Scope
This policy applies to all employees, contractors, visitors, customers and stakeholders.
Policy Elements
Discrimination is any negative action or attitude directed toward someone because of protected characteristics, like race and gender. Other protected characteristics are:
Discrimination and Harrassment
Our anti-discrimination and anti-harassment policies go hand-in-hand. We will not tolerate any kind of discrimination that creates a hostile and unpleasant environment for employees, interns or volunteers.
This is not an exhaustive list, but here are some instances that we consider discrimination:
Employees who harass their colleagues will go through our disciplinary process and we may reprimand, demote or terminate them depending on the severity of their offence.
We recognize that sometimes discrimination is unintentional, as we may all have unconscious biases that could be difficult to identify and overcome. In case we conclude that an employee unconsciously discriminates, we will support them through training and counseling and implement processes that mitigate biases as we indicate in the next section. But, if this person shows unwillingness to change their behavior, we may demote or terminate them.
We will not be lenient in cases of assault, sexual harassment or workplace violence, whether physical or psychological. We will terminate employees who behave like this immediately.
Actions to prevent discrimination
To ensure that our conduct and processes are fair and lawful, we:
We will also consider additional measures to prevent discrimination, like:
What to do in cases of discrimination
If you are the victim of discriminatory behavior (or if you suspect that others are being discriminated against,) please talk to the Executive Director (or your manager) as soon as possible. CSPS is committed to hearing your claim, investigating the issue and determining punishment.
Punishment for discriminatory behavior depends on the severity of the offense. For example, inadvertently offending someone might warrant a reprimand. Conversely, willfully bypassing employees for promotion because of a protected characteristic will result in termination.
If you decide to make a claim to a regulatory body (e.g. the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission,) we are committed and bound by law not to retaliate against you.
How we address discrimination complaints
CSPS is proactive and responsive about determining whether discrimination occurs. For example, we:
We will investigate all claims discreetly. We will never disclose who made a complaint to anyone or give out information that may help others identify that person (e.g. which department or role they work in.)
We should all strive to prevent and address discrimination. Be aware of your implicit biases and speak up whenever you or your colleagues are discriminated against. If you have any ideas on how we can ensure fairness and equality in our workplace, we are happy to hear them.
