Iowa Metal UNderground Fest

Iowa Metal Underground Fest returns to Cedar Rapids on Friday and Saturday August 14th and 15th, 2026. This year features the biggest lineup yet with 19 brutal bands from across North America. This year’s headliner on August 15th is MUTILATION BARBECUE, a death metal band from Cleveland, Ohio that has been ravaging the scene since 2020. Also, featuring Dying Remains from Calgary, Alberta, Canada among many others. The Friday night pre show is headlined by Chicago brutal death metal band, Gored Embrae. 

Friday in the CSPS Hall Black Hole: Gored Embrace, Takacs, Toxic Hell, Starved, Fungal Mass, Crucifilth. 

Saturday in the CSPS Performance Hall: Mutilation Barbecue, Dying Remains, Dysmorphia, Tombstoner, Frontal Assault, ILL OMEN, Pitlord, Yotuma, Graveripper, Pursuit, 12 Gauge Autopsy, Phantom Threat, Ophidian Memory.
