Get ready, movie lovers! Local film enthusiasts are launching a brand-new, MID-WEEK FILM NIGHT right here in town, and you're invited to get in on the ground floor as all the fun and mystery unfold.

Every month, the lights will go down on a unique cinematic experience. Kicking things off, we're embracing the thrilling Mystery Movie format, a favorite among adventurous cinephiles. It's all loads of fun and reminiscent of late-night cable binges and in the true spirit of the 1970s Midnight Movies tradition.

Tonight's film is another animated sci-fi, an esoteric Japanese treasure that somehow eluded canonization. This epic fever dream utilizes avant-garde edits remixing the aesthetics of Metropolis with punk, Pop Art, electronica, and a heavy dose of Thomas Pynchon.

An almost 2hr, high-octane grossout horror comedy from Spain, featuring bankrobbers and a coven of witches. A potentially feminist subtext filtered through a machismo lens just adds to the narrative spice.

Experimental, deconstructed horror and other short films curated by Caterwaul. CW: these will contain a bit of everything, including disturbing imagery, gore, strobe effects, media piracy, and confusion.
