Día de los Muertos

We ask that all artists maintain a maximum width of 24 inches (including frame if applicable) per piece. Please clarify dimensions in your submission.

Although we have limited space, we encourage artists to submit more than one piece (only ONE entry form required per Artist). Pending approval of content and size, we are happy to accommodate multiple pieces by the same artist. 

Please ensure your piece is prepped with wire (or able to be wired) prior to drop off. 3D work requires advanced approval to ensure proper display space is available.

Artist will permit CSPS to photograph, and/or video all artwork to be displayed for the duration of the exhibit. All materials shared by Artist will be used solely for promotional purposes.

Artists are welcome and encouraged to promote the opening reception and exhibit; but should there be costs associated with their individual promotion, the Artist will be responsible. 

All sales are handled by CSPS through our internal POS System. As per our customary Visual Arts agreement, each Artist will retain 70% of their sales. Sold pieces will remain on display until the conclusion of the exhibit; unless prior communication and agreement has been made. At that time, each Buyer will be contacted by email or phone to retrieve their piece.  Payment made to the Artist will be mailed out within 2 weeks of the final show date. Please ensure that you've entered the correct legal name and mailing address in your submission form. 

Listing artwork for sale is not mandatory. 

All artwork must be delivered to CSPS Hall (1103 3rd Street SE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52401) no later than Sun, Sep 27, 2026. Artists must pick up their work (unless sold) within 3 business days of the final show date; by Thu, Nov 12, 2026.

Our open hours are Tuesday through Sunday from 12:00 - 6:00 PM. 

Excluding sold pieces, artwork will be considered abandoned if it is not picked up within one month of pick-up date. At that time, CSPS is no longer responsible for the safety, storage, or care of such abandoned artwork. Artists will not hold CSPS liable for the damage, destruction, or loss of abandoned artwork. 

CSPS does not offer insurance. Artist assumes all liability and costs related to loss, damage, or harm of work. We do have a newly installed, state of the art security system. We do our utmost best to handle our artist's work with care and respect.

Upon submission of form, the Artist acknowledges that they have read and agree to the Art Exhibit Rules and Regulations listed above. The Artist understands that the submission constitutes a binding agreement with CSPS; and by submitting the form, the Artist certifies that all information provided is accurate and complete.
