Emerging ARtist Series

The Emerging Artist Series is a performance focused mentorship program that pairs nationally touring artists with local and regional emerging musicians. Designed to support early-career artists, each event in this series provides emerging artists with a paid performance opportunity alongside an established touring artist, while connecting them with new audiences and professional networks.

In addition to performing, participating artists have the opportunity for informal mentorship with both the touring artist they've been paired with and CSPS staff. Conversations within these mentorship gatherings focus on practical aspects of building a sustainable music career, including touring, the business side of being a professional musician, career development, and audience engagement.

The Emerging Artist Series intentionally supports artists from a range of backgrounds, including solo performers and bands. By combining fair compensation, live performance experience, professional mentorship, and industry insight, this series provides meaningful support and pathways for emerging artists to grow their careers.
