 Revival Theatre Company’s Cameron Sullenberger Overture Series is a new annual event that raises funds for RTC programs and educational offerings. This new series was developed in memory of our co-founder and musical director Cameron Sullenberger, who passed away in February 2023 during a rehearsal for our first show of 2023.

Cameron was passionate about singers and musicians, and this series reflects those interests. The new annual event will bring together the area’s best in the musical theatre and classic Broadway scores or intimate solo concerts — for a one-night-only event.

The fourth annual Cameron Sullenberger Overture Series Gala will feature 8-time Broadway actress Elena Shadow. Last seen on Broadway in The Visit with Chita Rivera, Elena was prominently featured as Sister Sophia in NBC's The Sound of Music Live! starring Carrie Underwood. She originated the role of Francesca Johnson to critical acclaim in the pre-Broadway production of The Bridges of Madison County and starred as Anne Dindon in the Tony Award-winning Broadway revival of La Cage Aux Folles.

Other Broadway: The Woman in White, Fiddler on the Roof, Nine, Sweet Smell of Success, and Les Miserables. Off Broadway: Fanny at City Center Encores! and The Bacchae at The Delacorte Theater. London: Show Boat at the Royal Albert Hall.
